Focus: Technical Strategy, Test Development, Backend Testing

In summer 2019, we were brought on to transform a Test suite for this new platform which needed a new team to refactor.

The end client are a large central Government entity and have multiple projects on the go to handle their digital needs.

We came in to the project to rework some existing Test Automation suite as it had been developed subotimally in Java and needed to be written in Scala. There was an opportunity here to collaborate with development and create an even better foundation with the framework and use cutting edge libraries to transform it.

We also spent some time refactoring the Cucumber and Gherkin scripts for efficiency and performance which resulted in a new and improved solution that could be trusted by the Developers and other internal staff as well as external stakeholders who knew a great job was being done.
